Surfing in Fiji

Surfing Fiji
Fiji is made up of 332 islands located in the center of the South Pacific. It is a heaven for anyone who enjoys sunshine and authentic island-style living. Fiji benefits from a consistent swell throughout the year and boasts a selection of world-class reef breaks, including Cloudbreak – a world-class left that is often cited as one of the most challenging waves in the world. The main source of swell comes out of the Tasman Sea and although surfable all year round, the best time for surfing in Fiji is from March to November. Waves this time of year can be anything up to 5 meters so they are best reserved for more experienced surfers. For beginners and improvers, you’ll find more forgiving waves in the wet season, which runs from December to February.
